Back in the USSR
Back home after a week spent visiting family in Florida for the holidays.
Internet deprived--the only internet connection was a hardwired PC in the baby's room, which meant extremely limited access. Basically I logged on twice to check urgent e-mail, and that was about it. Looks like I'll be spending the next couple of days catching up on e-mail and LJ.
Previous post on travel suggestions turned out to be prescient. Today's hour and fifteen minute layover in Philadelphia turned into a 5+ hour adventure, as my original connecting flight was cancelled, as was the next flight, and I wound up on the 8:30 PM flight home. I arrived fine, but my luggage is MIA. Hopefully it will turn up sooner rather than later. In the meantime, it's great to be home.
ETA: Luggage delivered at 2:30 AM. Yay for "Deliver anytime" from USAir.

Speaking of which, You Know Who is agitating for game night next weekend. Plus, of course, we have to SEE the new book.
