The End
Well the end of forward momentum.
Writing today: 2,810 new words for a total of 97,686.
The first draft is officially done. I still need to go back and add a scene at the beginning. Then there are all the usual cleanup things to be done including:
- Clarify the timeline
- Ensure geography is consistent (I have the sneaking suspicion that the Seddon Federation wandered on me as I was writing)
- Strengthen characterization for Josan in the mid section of the book
- Update style sheet to ensure consistency of capitalization and special terms
And, of course, a complete revision pass from start to finish.
Still it's a good day to celebrate. Yay for me.
