I went to look at condos this weekend with a friend, and upon seeing the giant walk-in closet in the master bedroom, my first thought was "If this was my place, all my clothes would fit in the guest closet, and then I could use this room for a library."

Not sure what it's like on your side of the pond, but here the trend is toward master bedroom closets that are bigger than some bedrooms I've had. I'm sure there'd be plenty of room for books and skirts.
