Anyone recommendations for a livejournal backup program?

I just used LJ's own archive download, which took about 15 minutes to download 4 years, so not too bad. I'm on a Mac, so would also appreciate any advice. [livejournal.com profile] autopope commented on a program called Python, but I couldn't get it to work properly...
