For those who are interested, Patricia gets her butt in chair.

Managed 14,750 words in the past week, which is pretty good. Not as good as last week, when I was able to write on July 4th. Here's my progress so far:

Week 1: 	 8,750

Week 3: 	 1,000
Week 4: 	 2,250
Week 5: 	18,000
Week 6: 	14,750
Total since June 1st: 47,000

I've made up for the travel days (and sluglike laziness in June). I wrote during the recent heat wave, and am managing to write every day, but I'm much more productive on weekends. So I'm taking vacation today, and have a couple more vacation days scheduled in the upcoming weeks to try and keep ahead of the curve.
