Mistress of the obvious
Yesterday I was finally able to get out on my bike, after the past weekends of freezing weather. Since this was my first ride of the season, I expected to be rusty, but I was in much better shape than I expected to be. I'm still rusty, but was able to push myself harder and stay out longer than I normally do on for my first ride.
Yes, I've discovered that going to the gym regularly can help you get (and stay) in shape. Please stay tuned while I report on discovering fire and reinventing the wheel.
In book news, continuing to accelerate toward the July 31st release of THE SEA CHANGE. Later today I need to come up with a new "About the Author" profile for the back of the book. Not quite sure what to put in there--do I mention the koala sanctuary? My childhood as a secret agent? My predilections for reference books, exotic beers and office supplies? This will require some thought.
Finally, it looks like Bantam has approved the title for the final book in The Chronicles of Josan, which will be THE FINAL SACRIFICE. Catchy, huh? I was surprised no one had used it recently. It fits really well with the others, almost as if I had planned this.
Now I just need to figure out which character gets sacrificed....
